Felony domestic battery wasn't enough for suspect, Carson City Sheriff says

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
SATURDAY
• At 1:20 a.m., Thomas Carrillo, 31, was arrested on a felony domestic battery charge after a witness reported to deputies that he saw Carrillo pin a female victim to the ground outside their Carson Street apartment and choke her. He was also charged with obstructing an officer for lying about the incident, refusing to provide ID and threatening to shoot the deputy. Bail was set at $22,500.
• At 2:07 a.m., a Carson couple was arrested after a traffic stop at Russell and Long for no license plate. They were both taken into custody for violating alternative sentencing conditions. Bail was set at $3,000 apiece.
• At 7:16 p.m., a 23-year-old woman was charged with battery after deputies were called to an address on Spartan Avenue. She is accused of punching her neighbor in the face. Bail was set at $1,000.
SUNDAY
• At 1:06 a.m., a 26-year-old woman was charged with DUI 1st alcohol after her vehicle left the travel lane at Carson Street and Silver Oak and hit a stop sign in the median. She told deputies she fell asleep at the wheel. She was also charged with destruction of the sign. Bail was set at $3,500.
• At 2:55 a.m., a 51-year-old woman was arrested after a traffic stop at Valley and Proctor on a warrant issued in Sparks. Bail was set at $755.
• At 12:47 p.m., Hugo Granillo, 25, was arrested at an apartment on Long Street after deputies responded to a reported domestic dispute. He was jailed on a P&P felony hold and charged with possession of paraphernalia — syringes. He was held without bail.
• At 3:08 p.m., a 61-year-old Carson man was arrested on an outstanding Douglas County traffic warrant after a traffic stop outside the Food Maxx on Highway 50. Bail was set at $238.
• At 3:12 p.m., a 36-year-old was charged with violating bail conditions after deputies went to an address on Rolando Way for a follow up investigation. He was charged for violating the no-alcohol condition of his release. Bail was set at $3,000.
• At 6:02 p.m., a 48-year-old was arrested after a traffic stop at Fall and Park streets on a warrant charging violation of probation conditions. Bail was set at $3,000.
• At 8:58 p.m., a 42-year-old man was charged with domestic battery 1st offense after deputies were dispatched to an apartment on Stewart Street. The victim’s daughter took video of some of the altercation that showed him hitting the victim’s hand. Bail was set at $3,000.
TUESDAY
• At 12:20 a.m., Michelle Mitchell, 37, was charged with auto burglary after the vehicle’s owner saw her inside his vehicle on Corbett Street. Her wig was found inside the vehicle. Bail was set at $2,500.
