Hangtown Music Festival announces initial lineup

Placerville festival celebrates 10th anniversary

Hangtown Music Festival producers have announced the 10th anniversary show will take place Oct. 24-27 at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds in Placerville, Calif.
The festival’s initial artist lineup includes Railroad Earth, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Galactic, Leftover Salmon, Twiddle, Travelin’ McCourys, Scott Pemberton O Theory, and Joe Craven as master of ceremonies.
After canceling the 2020 edition due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the festival is happy to return to Placerville and bring thousands of music fans back together again, the producers said in a news release.
Railroad Earth will host, performing three sets over the course of the four-day event along with more than 20 bands, late night shows, Halloween costume themes, craft beer, wine, artisanal cuisine, arts and craft fair, pumpkin carving, yoga and more.
The KidZone also will return, where kids and parents can participate in creative activities.
The festival will be announcing additional artists and activities in the coming weeks.
