Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS) is reporting 23 new cases and 52 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. This brings the total number of cases to 11,310, with 9,234 recoveries and 208 deaths; 1,868 cases remain active.

COVID-19 Vaccination Eligibility- New Group
Starting March 10, 2021, the agriculture and food processing group will be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in the Quad-County Region. Individuals within this group who work in the Quad-County region can schedule an appointment now for an event on or after March 10, 2020. CCHHS will continue to vaccinate those previously identified as eligible based on employment as well as those eligible in the General Population Lane, which is Quad-County residents ages 65 and older. Vaccinations are by appointment only. Proof of employment such as a badge or pay stub will be required at the time of the appointment (if eligible based on employment). Those who are eligible based on employment are to be vaccinated by jurisdiction they work in.
