The Secretary of State’s Office says a review of four boxes of election complaints shows there were far fewer valid complaints than claimed by Nevada GOP Chairman Michael McDonald.
The complaints were delivered to the secretary on March 4.
An announcement released by Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske says the GOP delivered documents claiming there were 122,918 unique voter complaints.
After more than 40 hours of staff analysis, the reports were all inventoried, labeled and evaluated in order to ensure a “systematic assessment of the election complaints.”
The elections division determined there were 3,963 election integrity violation reports, a number of which are already under investigation by law enforcement.
The statement says all of those violation reports were filed by McDonald.
