Gov. Steve Sisolak announced Thursday that more than 1 million Nevadans have received at least one shot of vaccine.
“This milestone marks a significant moment as Nevadans fight to end the pandemic,” he said.
He thanked all the emergency managers, health officials and National Guard members as well as all those who have chosen to be vaccinated.
Sisolak said 367,732 Nevadans are now fully vaccinated with either two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one shot of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
Nevada’s official population in 2020 was 3.14 million people.
