Active COVID-19 cases fall below 700 in Quad County Region

Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS) is reporting 20 new cases and 70 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region on Wednesday.
This brings the total number of cases to 11,890, with 10,992 recoveries and 222 deaths; 676 cases remain active.

CCHHS COVID-19 Vaccination Eligibility

Starting April 5, 2021 Quad-County residents and employees ages 16 and older will be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at all Quad-County events. Currently, the only COVID-19 vaccine authorized for use in individuals ages 16-17 is the Pfizer vaccine. Janssen and Moderna are not authorized for use in those under the age of 18 at this time.
