The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are presumed innocent until convicted in court.
SATURDAY, MAY 8
• At 1:45 a.m., a 42-year-old woman was charged with DUI 1st alcohol after a traffic stop for erratic driving on East Musser Street. Bail was set at $1,000.
• At 6:45 a.m., a 55-year-old woman was arrested on an outstanding DUI warrant issued in Sparks after deputies responded to the Motel 6 for a 911 call hangup. Bail was set at $885.
SUNDAY, MAY 9
• At 3:03 a.m., a 28-year-old cocktail waitress was arrested on a DUI 1st alcohol charge after a traffic stop at William and Humboldt for driving without lights on. Her bail was set at $1,025.
• At 11:24 a.m., Shalese Fanter, 34, was arrested after neighbors called to report some one in an abandoned residence on Kit Sierra Way. Deputies found her inside the residence along with food, bedding and other evidence she had been living there. She was charged with burglary, unlawful occupancy and violating suspended sentence conditions. Bail was set at $23,500.
TUESDAY, MAY 11
• At 8:41 a.m., a 24-year-old was arrested after a caller told dispatch there was a man lying in the travel lane outside St. Theresa’s church on Lompa Lane. When deputies approached, the arrest report says he took off running through back yards and over fences. He was caught on Dori Way and charged with obstructing a deferred sentencing violation. Bail was set at $3,300.
• At 2:40 p.m., Michael Bird, 45, turned himself in at the jail on drug charges. He is charged with possession of drugs and paraphernalia. He was booked and released.
• At 3:19 p.m., a 44-year-old landscaper was booked on misdemeanor charges of indecent exposure, unlawful conduct with a child and disturbing the peace. He was booked and released.
• At 3:48 p.m., Robert Stevenson was arrested at Fall and William streets after a caller reported some one masturbating in his vehicle. Bail was set at $5,000.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 12
• At 1:18 a.m., Andre Shaver, 29, was arrested on multiple charges including possession of cocaine for sale. A search of his person found a container with 22 grams of cocaine inside. He also had a no drugs and no weapons condition according to Nevada P&P and deputies found a sheath knife on his person along with prescription drug pills. After he was transported to the jail, deputies found three credit cards in the patrol vehicle that didn’t belong to Shaver. He was charged with possession of cocaine and possession for sale, possession of prescription drugs, possession of credit cards without the owner’s consent and probation violation. He was held without bail.
THURSDAY, MAY 13
• At 12:26 p.m., Janna Fenwick, 45, was arrested on a hold by P&P after a traffic stop at Roop and Long for no license plate. She was a passenger in the vehicle. Deputies found two kinds of prescription pills in her purse but she said she has prescriptions for both but just put them in one bottle. P&P asked deputies to arrest her.
