Masks are once again required indoors in all 17 counties in Nevada.
Esmeralda County was out from under that requirement for a month with a low percentage of positive tests and a low incidence of cases per 100,000 residents. But positive tests and rising case numbers have again exceeded benchmarks there.
The other 16 counties remain under the mask requirements as well.
A number of Nevada’s small, rural counties go on and off the mask requirements because, with very small populations, their numbers can fluctuate dramatically from week to week.
