Carson High girls’ soccer put three of its players on the all-region team for their performances on the field this season.
Leading the way for the Senators was midfielder Gracie Walt, who secured a first team all-region selection.
Walt was the Senators’ do-it-all midfielder all season and showcased her speed and athleticism to get into positions where she was needed.
The junior tallied three goals and four assists this season for Carson.
Earning a second team all-region selection was forward Reese Mackenzie.
Mackenzie’s finishing ability led the Senators with six goals and an assist.
For the senior, timing was everything as she put home all six of those goals within a seven-game span down the back half of the season for Carson.
Senator defender Natalyn Wakeling also picked up second team honors for the blue and white.
Wakeling’s blistering speed on the back line gave teams fits throughout the season, as she was able to track down nearly any attacker with possession.
She also added an assist on the offensive end.
Both Mackenzie and Wakeling are seniors and will graduate in the spring.
