Tim said that it feels good to own the facility. He’s excited to have room to grow on the new property and maybe even pass down the family business to his four daughters.
Dubois, on the other hand, didn’t move by choice. The previous building was falling into disrepair with age.
Owner Judy DuBois is making the best of her new space.
She said her new location is bigger than any of DuBois previous locations. In fact, her late husband Phil DuBois started the business in a closet in 1964, and it’s grown dramatically since then.
Despite change, Judy said, DuBois’ long-term goals remain the same: serve the people. The sentiment includes her staff members – Dubois closed for Thanksgiving, and will reopen on Tuesday.
“They move vitamins and I move vitamins until we’re out of our minds,” she told the Appeal. “It’s a much-needed break for all.”
