Kat is a sweet one-year-old brown domestic, shorthair tabby. She is very friendly and her specialty is head butting you to show her affection. When she came and her kittens came to CAPS, the entire family needed medical care. Thanks to our excellent care, everyone is strong, healthy, and ready for a home. Come out and meet her; she is adorable.
After a one-year hiatus, CAPS Murder Mystery Theater is returning to the social scene. Prepare yourself to be delighted and entertained. This year’s play written, by Christopher W. Daniels, takes place at our very own Cantaloupe Festival. Christopher gives new meaning to “melondrama” (pun intended).
If you have ever played the game Clue, this is the real-life version. Based on clues given during the performance, you work with your dinner partners to figure out who committed the Melon Felony.
We have an all-star lineup of local actors to confuse, amuse, and astound you. What could be more fun than figuring out who done it? No need to be “meloncholy” this is an adventure in crime solving.
Who will win the crown for the most attractive, juicy, all-around melon? Who may be cheating by inflating their melons with unknown substances? Is there a certain “melondy” that only melons respond to? Attend and get answers to these questions and many more.
Get a jump on your Christmas gift shopping, too. The silent auction features many wonderful items. We have something for everyone and all of the proceeds go to support Fallon’s only no-kill shelter.
Please join us Oct. 23 at the Fallon Convention Center for a fun-filled night of excellent food, drinks, entertainment, and the silent auction. The doors open at 5 p.m., and the show starts at 6 p.m. Dinner is served during intermission. There will be a cash bar serving wine, beer, and soda. Tickets are $50 or $275 for a table of six. Purchase tickets at Jeff’s Copy Express, Family Pet Connection, The Grid, and the CAPS shelter.
