Carson City road report for October 25 to 31, 2021

Road report as of Thursday. The following applies to Oct. 25-31.
Road closures are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
Curry Street between 5th Street and Musser Street will be closed in the northbound direction, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for road construction. Pedestrian closures and detours will also be in place. Plan accordingly.
Kings Canyon Road west of Longview Way remains closed for roadway reconstruction. Only local residential access will be provided. The Waterfall Trailhead and parking area is closed. There is no access and no parking for the trails. Do not come up Kings Canyon unless you live in the area.
 
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
Long Street between Roop Street and Rand Street will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction. Please expect delays and consider an alternate route.
Marian Avenue at Long Street will be flagger controlled, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction. Please expect delays and consider an alternate route.
Molly Street at Long Street will be flagger controlled, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction. Please expect delays and consider an alternate route.
Saliman Road at the intersection of Long Street will be flagger controlled, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction. Please expect delays and consider an alternate route.
Saliman Road between Goldfield Avenue and 5th Street will be reduced to one lane in the southbound direction, Tuesday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., for roadway and utility work.
State Street at Long Street will be flagger controlled, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction. Expect delays and consider an alternate route.
