The Nevada Highway Patrol arrested one person Thursday night after a hit and run near Bodine’s Casino. The male pedestrian died from injuries suffered and the subject vehicle fled, NHP said.
Trooper Charles Caster of NHP said troopers were able to track the Nissan pickup truck to a Carson residence and arrested Catarino Sotelo Jacinto, 36. The defendant was transported to the Carson City Jail on charges of felony hit and run causing injury or death, gross misdemeanor making a false report and misdemeanor failure to give information from a vehicle accident.
