As many as 50 employers will take part in a job fair Friday, Sept. 10 sponsored by Carson City Health and Human Services and the Carson City Chamber of Commerce.
The event is set for noon to 3 p.m., for the public. Veterans and disabled will be able to enter the fair at 11:30 a.m.
The job fair will be in the large gym at the Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William St.
At least 50 employers have committed to participating in the event, according to a news release, representing manufacturing, retail, gaming, staffing agencies, utilities companies, home health, security and more.
Job seekers should bring an updated résumé, dress to impress, and be prepared to fill out applications.
