A brief survey by the Reno Tahoe Airport Authority indicates more people are again traveling by air.
According to the survey, 73 percent of those travelers are fully vaccinated and just about half say they feel safe flying.
In addition, 73 percent of those contacted said they would take a leisure trip.
Of those surveyed, 53 percent said they would take a business trip with most saying they would do so to attend a convention or trade show. But 40 percent of travelers said business trips remain frozen because of budget cuts.
The “Sentiment Survey” found the most popular trips are those under two hours in the air but that those flying say they are getting more comfortable with longer flights.
