Baseball. About fifteen hundred people assembled on Sunday last on the Comstock to witness a baseball game between a Virginia picked nine and a nine of the Leavitt minstrels. The latter met an inglorious defeat, scoring only three to the Comstocker’s thirty-three.

It is reported that a $20,000 casino will be constructed this spring at Tallac, Lake Tahoe. The casino will be thoroughly equipped with a bar, club rooms, four bowling alleys, billiard rooms, etc.

The big spring event for the youngsters of Carson City and vicinity gets underway promptly at 1:30 o’clock Sunday when the children will be admitted to the capitol grounds for the annual Easter egg hunt sponsored by the 20-30 club.

The 24-year-old county designations are on their way out with the new license plates appearing in the next two months according to the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles. The first set of the new plates, No. 008ADA was issued to two Carson City chiropractors.

Yesterday the steam traction engine that is billed for the Dangberg ranch in Carson Valley was given an airing on the streets of Carson. The engineer in charge unloaded the huge machine by steaming it up and running it off the car it was loaded on.

Again, has the warm springs property changed hands. Its present proprietor is Hon. J.G. McClinton whom everybody knows or ought to know. Under the new proprietorship, the springs will be a very desirable resort for the epicure, the invalid, and the fellow citizen (of either sex) seeking a thorough bath or a good swim. Here is a constant supply of warm spring water flowing into large stone walled rooms amply large enough and deep enough for swimming in.
