The Bark is back and coming soon

Jasper is a four-year-old German Shepherd cross black/brown/white. He is a happy boy who loves his pool, enjoys walking on a leash, and likes to ride in the car. Jasper is OK with bathing, brushing, and grooming. Come out and take a walk with him; he would love to be your BFF.

Watson here, and the dog-gone-best-social-event of the season is coming soon.

On Saturday, May 7, Bark in the Park will present a fun-filled day for dogs and their people. The day begins with the annual 5K walk/run. Bring your BFF (best furry friend) on a leash and stroll.

The registration fee is only $15 per person or $50 for group of four (no charge for canines!).

Registration is from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. (promptly) at the Churchill County Fairgrounds. The walk/run begins at 9 a.m. The first 100 to cross the finish line will receive a medal.
Entrance is free to Bark in the Park activities, and we have wonderful things to do. Your BFF is welcome and there will be a contest for dogs. I’ll have more information about that next week. In addition, we will have a dog wash, which is one of the best things going for muddy puppies.
Along with various vendors, we will have food trucks, kids’ games, and plenty of raffle items. The raffle is one activity you will not want to miss. My mom always buys many raffle tickets and hopes to win something.
It has been two years since we have had the opportunity to have Bark in the Park, which is CAPS major fund raiser, and we hope you will support us by coming out for a walk. Even if you don’t do the 5K walk, come out and visit our many vendors, have a bite to eat, and enjoy a dog-friendly activity.
I always look forward to seeing my old and new friends. There are not many dog-friendly events so be sure not to miss this one. I will see you there.
XOXO Watson
