The annual Greenwave wrestling program fundraiser, Night of Fights, returns this month for the first time since 2019. The Calcutta will kick off the event on Monday at 6:30 p.m. at The Grid. The fights will be on April 29 at the city-county gym.

Top Gun racing returns this weekend
Top Gun’s first Test-N-Tune event of the season is Saturday and Sunday at the Top Gun Raceway located 16 miles south of Fallon.
Drag racing on the quarter-mile track begins on Saturday at 10 a.m., and Summit ET and junior drag racing will run from 2-6 p.m. The organization’s 2021 awards presentation and potluck dinner follows at 6 p.m. The second round of racing is Sunday at 10 a.m.
Spectator fees for the 2022 season are $10 for adults, and $5 for kids ages 6-12, seniors 60 and older, and military family members. Active duty military admission is free.
Racer fees range from $25 (junior dragster to $60 (Summit Super Pro).

Rattlesnake dirt-track racing season opens Friday
The season opener dirt-track racing at Rattlesnake Raceway is Friday at 7 p.m.
Racing is also on Saturday at 6 p.m., which includes a meet and greet with the drivers. Pits open at 2 p.m. The raceway is located east of Fallon off Highway 50.
Spectator fees are $10 for those ages 11 and older, $8 for military with ID, $5 for seniors 55 and older and children 6-10, and free for children 5 and younger. Tickets can be purchased online.
Racer fees for Rattlesnake are $50 for IMCA classes and Pro Stocks, and $40 for all other classes. Pit passes are $25 for those ages 13 and older, $10 for those ages 3-12 and free for under 2 with a paid adult.
