Invitation for Bids for One (1) Modular Home 

Walker River Housing Department (WRHD) located at 1063 Hospital Road, Schurz, NV 89427 is interested in purchasing (1) modular home from a qualified company. Bids will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2022. Bids received after the designated date and time will be considered non-responsive and returned to the sender. 

Scope of Work: 

Supply, deliver and complete set-up of one (1) manufactured home to the Walker River Paiute Tribe Reservation, Schurz, Nevada. One (1) manufactured unit, double wide designs with a maximum area of 1800 square feet, delivered and installed. Units must have minimum of one-year warranty from the provider. Unit shall have up to three bedrooms, two baths, living, dining, laundry and finished and ready for occupancy. Windows shall be dual pane thermos windows and manufacturer must provide and connect all appliances. Appliances (i.e., refrigerator, range, oven, range hood and all mechanical equipment as well as a heating and cooling source preferably an evaporative cooler. Floor plans must be provided by the supplier. 

Bids will be publicly opened on Monday, May 16, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Walker River Housing Department located at 1063 Hospital Road, Schurz, NV 89427. 

Please be advised, local tribal laws shall apply. Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO), Tax Ordinance and the Business License Code will be enforced for the services. Copies of the TERO, Tax Ordinance and Business License Code will be provided upon request. It is the responsibility of the contractor to obtain specific requirements of the TERO and Tax Code from the departments. The Invitation for Bids is non-restricted, but Indian Preference applies to the award of this contract in accordance with Regulations 24 CFR 1000.52, Section 7 (b) of the Indian Self Determination and Education Assistance Act U.S.C. 450 (b), and the Walker River Paiute Tribe, Procurement and Property Management Policy & Procedure Manual.
