Notice is hereby given that the Honorable City Council of the City of Fallon adopted Bill No. 788 as Ordinance No. 773 on August 2, 2022. Ordinance No. 773 amended the City of Fallon Municipal Code, Title Five “Business Licenses and Regulations”, to add Chapter 5.56 entitled “Shopping Carts,” providing for the regulation of shopping carts within the City of Fallon, declaring the presence of shopping carts public nuisances in certain situations; requiring businesses that provide shopping carts to create a shopping cart retrieval procedure; providing for the retrieval and impounding by the City or its agents of shopping carts in certain situations; and other matters properly related thereto.
Ordinance Nos. 773 will become effective 20 days after this publication.
