Wild Horse Productions is presenting one of the longest running musicals in Broadway history, “A Chorus Line.” It will be playing the next two weekends, Aug. 19-21 and Aug. 26-28, at the Carson City Community Center’s Bob Boldrick Theater. Friday shows are at 7:30 p.m., Saturday shows are at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday shows are at 2 p.m. The show follows 17 would-be dancers in their quest to make the cut for a new Broadway musical. One by one, they come forward to share the stories of their lives, putting themselves on the line to get a job in the line. When they’re done, so is the audition; and only eight will remain. The show’s score features the iconic musical hits “I Hope I Get It,” “The Music and the Mirror,” “One” and many more. The show does contain adult content. “A Chorus Line has been the greatest joy and challenge to bring to the stage,” said Wild Horse Stage Company Guest Director John Paul Rivard. “A Chorus Line brings truly beautiful music that hits your soul. It has been an honor to bring this challenging show to stage, and with such an amazing cast.” Leading the cast are Adam Semas as Zach, Alexander Cain Biber as Larry, Alex Gumm as Don, Beth Gamboa as Valerie, Cassidy Buchan as Diana, Ella Hennessey as Maggie, Emily Ramey as Sheila, Erich Parker as Richie, Hayden Breiter as Mark, Jake Nichols as Mike, John Paul Rivard as Paul, Kelsey Mato as Kristine, Lara Vo as Connie, Michael Rapisora as Ala, Michela Munoz-Brown as Judy, Serena Dantlzer as Bebe, Sierra Scott as Cassie, Stephen Moore as Bobby, and Trevor Young as Gregory. They are supported by an ensemble featuring Alicia Borden, Bay Eaton, Baylee Spear, Ethan Spier, Gina Lopez, Michael Smith, Moira Laughlin, Nadia Hill and Rachel Vallin. Tickets are $25 general admission and can be purchased online at https://whproductions.ludus.com/. Tickets are also available at the door.
