This weekend, Dec. 16 and 17, we have two great movies playing for you Friday and Saturday evenings. Our first feature at 6 p.m. is the 2018 computer animated Christmas comedy film “The Grinch.”
The Grinch and his loyal dog, Max, live in a cave on Mount Crumpet. His neighbors in Whoville aggravate him with their Christmas holiday celebrations. When the Whos decide to make Christmas even bigger, the Grinch realizes there is only one way to gain peace and quiet. With the help of Max, he hatches a scheme to pose as Santa Claus and steal Christmas. Voices provided by Benedict Cumberbatch, Rashida Jones, Angela Lansbury and Pharrell Williams.
Join us for our second movie each evening at 6:30 p.m. for our Themed Movie Night featuring the 2003 Christmas comedy “Elf.” Buddy, raised as an oversized elf, travels from the North Pole to New York City to meet his biological father, Walter Hobbs, who doesn't know he exists and is in desperate need of some Christmas spirit. Stars Will Ferrell, James Caan, Zooey Deschanel and Bob Newhart.
Both evenings include a full Elf immersion, featuring an Ugly Christmas Sweater and Elf Costume Contest plus much more.
We want to thank Ott's Farm Equipment for sponsoring this great Christmas event.
Don't forget Dec. 21 as we are excited to have the Nashville-based country due, Luke and Kaylee, take our stage for a holiday show. They will be playing some country, Christmas and original songs. Tickets are $20 per person with 20% of ticket sales donated to a local charity. Doors open at 6 p.m. with performance starting at 7 p.m. For tickets, visit www.lukeandkayleemusic.com/tour.
Hope to see you there.
