The Churchill County Museum New Year’s Eve Mad Hatter Ball will take place at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31.

Enjoy the evening with dinner provided by Maine St. Café and dancing with music from McCain’s DJ service. The theme is a Mad Hatter Tea Party. Costumes are encouraged but optional.

Master of Ceremonies Zip Upham brings his humor and eccentricity to the fanciful evening of entertainment and music. Complete with live and silent auctions, the evening showcases specialty items, wine baskets, and a few surprises. Auction items include a ghost town guided tour. Other auction items include Rambling River Hay, Western Nevada Hemp, and a Champagne and Rose Pedal Spa Bath.

Doors open at the Pennington Life Center, 952 S. Maine St. at 8 p.m. for a no host bar and photo opportunities with the Mad Hatter. Tickets are $75 per person or $550 for a table of 8 includes dinner, wine, dancing, and midnight celebration toast. Tickets are available at the Churchill County Museum, 1050 S. Maine St.
