Nevada health officials say mask requirements are in place for all 17 Nevada counties because of the high risk of transmission of the omicron variant of the coronavirus.
That means everyone, vaccinated or not, must wear a mask in indoor public settings.
To get out from under the mask requirement, counties must test for two consecutive weeks at a low or moderate level of transmission.
Low means less than 10 new cases per 100,000 population and less than 5 percent positivity testing rate in the past seven days. Moderate means less than 50 new cases per 100,000 population and less than 8 percent positivity rate for a week.
While not mandatory, the Centers for Disease Control recommends everyone, including those fully vaccinated, wear a mask in public settings.
Officials cautioned that some school districts and local government have implemented stricter mask requirements.
