The annual Arts Council grants program begins taking applications for three categories this month.
The first category is Operating Support Grants. The application period for those grants opens Feb. 7 and is open to support core operations of arts organizations. It is open to non-profit arts organizations that are not currently receiving Operations Support grant funding.
The second category is Project grants for arts and cultural projects with community impact. They are available to non-profit groups and public institutions. The application period opens Feb. 21.
Finally, there are the Arts Learning Project grants that will begin taking applications March 7. The funding supports arts learning activities for pre-K and K-12 and lifelong learning. That, too, is open to both non-profits and public institutions.
