Information sought on Reno woman found dead inside burnt out car

Secret Witness is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect(s) in connection with the homicide of Anna Scott, who was found in a burnt-out vehicle on the southbound lanes of I-580 between Carson City and Reno on Feb. 3.
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is now investigating the woman’s death as a homicide.
The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office identified Scott, of Reno. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. The cause of death is pending further investigation.
Authorities are looking for any information regarding this case which could help detectives determine Scott’s movements and contacts throughout the hours and days preceding Feb. 3.
