It’s time for the 56th annual Nevada Cattlemen’s Association’s Fallon All Breeds Bull Sale on Feb. 19 at the Fallon Livestock LLC.
The auction begins at 11 a.m.

According to Martin Paris, the NCA’s executive director, 122 range-ready bulls have been consigned this year including Angus, Red Angus, Hereford, Charolais and Brangus. All bull entries are subjected to be sifted and graded Feb. 18 at 7:30 a.m.

For the past 55 years, Paris said NCA said producers from Nevada and the surrounding states have worked hard to bring the best quality range ready bulls to the sale to provide our buyers with quality and selection. He said many dedicated cosigners and buyers participate in the sale each year as do the sponsors and people that support the sale and the association.

“The sale would not be possible without all of their help,” Paris said.

If interested in exhibiting during the outdoor trade show, Paris encourages vendors to check out the NCA website for the Fallon Bull Sale Trade Show form.

While visitors are in town for the sale, Paris said the Fallon Bull Sale Dinner and Dance is hosted by the Churchill County Cowbelles on Feb. 18 at the Churchill County Convention Center. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. and the dance kicking off at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 for the dinner and dance or just $5 for the dance.
Paris said people should contact the office 775-738-9214 or email the sale secretary at nca@nevadabeef.org if they have questions regarding the schedule of events, would like a printed copy of the sale catalog, need information for vendors or have any other questions. The catalog is now available on NCA’s website at nevadacattlemen.org.
