Emergency management open house
The Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Tribe’s Emergency Management open house has been rescheduled for today at 10 a.m. followed by an open house from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The new Emergency Management facility is located at 8942 Mission Road.

Fourth of July sponsorship
Fallon’s annual city-wide Independence Day celebration is approaching and the Fallon Chamber of Commerce is seeking your financial contribution through a sponsorship. The Fallon Chamber of Commerce needs your help to fund this year’s Fourth of July celebration.
With your sponsorship you will receive:
• Announcements on the PA system throughout the parade.
• Business logo placement on a sponsorship banners in the parade.
• Logo placement on promotional fliers and other advertisement for the event.
• Recognition in press releases sent to media contacts.
• Free parade entry
• Any additional display of self-provided fliers, banners, etc.
Sponsorship fee is $250. If you are not interested in becoming a sponsor, but still wish to help, all donations and volunteerism is greatly appreciated.
Business sponsorships are used to cover costs of the parade. A portion of all proceeds will also be used for scholarship programs.

Fallon Alumni Chapter
Golf
Come out and join the Fallon Alumni Chapter on June 18 at the annual golf tournament to raise funds for the Elmo and Donna Dericco Memorial Scholarship fund.
This fun tournament is open to all Nevada alumni, Wolf Pack fans and golfers alike. Your entrance fee includes greens fees, cart and lunch served immediately after the tournament. There is also a silent auction.
Tickets are $80 for non-Fallon Golf Course members, and $40 for Fallon Golf Course members. The Wolfie Package is $20 and includes mulligans (maximum 4 per team; one 12-inch of string to guide your team’s stroke; and roll the die for your tee box
Register by emailing or calling Brenda Boone 775-426-8734 no later than June 15. Registration fees will be collected the day of the event. Bring extra cash to participate in the silent auction. Rodeo
Put on those cowboy boots, don your Nevada gear and join the Fallon Alumni Chapter Reno Rodeo bus trip for Wolf Pack Wednesday.
 A charter bus will pick passengers up at Malkos Bar in downtown Fallon and then transport everyone to the rodeo and then take them back home.
The cost is $75 per person, which includes the bus transportation, rodeo ticket and beverages. Payment will be collected on the day of the event. To reserve your seats, contact Brenda Boone at 775-426-8375. Deadline to purchase/reserve tickets is June 15.

Become a chamber member

Fallon Chamber of Commerce would like to extend its invitation to you to become a board member.
The chamber provides resources, support and education to help businesses be successful. The chamber is currently working on job training, internships and scholarship programs for up and coming youth looking to get into the business world. The chamber understands it’s made up of small businesses and wants to provide all the resources you need to run a successful business on a local, state and federal level.
The chamber works hard to represent the local business community, but as a non-profit 501(c)6 organization, the chamber relies on members and board of directors to partner with us to serve businesses and our community as a whole.

CCHS graduation
CCHS graduation is June 3 at 7 p.m. at the Edward Arciniega Athletic Complex’s football field.
Gates will open at 5:30 p.m.
Seniors are to arrive by 6 p.m. to stage in the auxiliary gym with their caps and gowns (school academic regalia will be distributed to them then).
Seniors will receive seven tickets each for field seating (there is no limit to the number of guests in the stands) provided all of their fees have been paid. Only students will receive the tickets, and they will not be released to anyone else.
Seniors will receive two parking passes for their family members. Those passes will give them access to the student parking lot, Lahontan Elementary parking lot, and the school's soccer field parking lot. There will be overflow parking (no passes required) on Miners Road (Bus transportation to and from Miners Road will be provided from 5:30-7 p.m. and again from 9-10 p.m.). There will also be golf carts to transport people from our parking lots to the field, if needed.
Seniors will also receive one student parking pass for them, not their parents, to park in the staff parking lot. These passes will all be monitored by staff.
Students will receive their official diploma following the ceremony. Staff will be in the auxiliary gym lobby to distribute the diplomas and collect any academic regalia that needs to be returned.
Grad Night follows the graduation at the Coconut Bowl in Sparks.
There will be unlimited food, mini golf, laser tag, arcade games, a photobooth, bowling and go karts!
Every senior who attends will receive a gift.
Students who did not receive tickets should check with the high-school office.
After graduation, students will meet at the bus pick-up location at the high school near the math building. Buses will leave the high school at 10 p.m. and leave Coconut Bowl at 2 a.m.
