The Carson City Planning Commission will meet Wednesday in the Robert “Bob” Crowell Board Room of the Community Center on 851 E. William St.
The commissioners will hear a presentation from Citizens’ Climate Education to decide whether to add sustainable design standards to the Carson City Municipal Code. CCE is a grassroots advocacy organization that promotes solutions to climate change.
There is no motion proposed – the presentation will be strictly for discussion. City staff wrote in the materials that some of CCE’s design concepts would potentially fit well with the city’s Development Standards.
Residents are welcome to join the meeting in-person to participate in public comment or send comments in advance to planning@carson.org or via mail to 108 E. Proctor St.
The meeting will broadcast live via www.carson.org/granicus and on cable channel 191.
