Re: Bid Proposal for One (1) New Diesel 4x4

Wildland Fire Truck

The Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Tribe (FPST)

will be accepting sealed bid proposals for the

above referenced “One (1) New Diesel 4x4

Wildland Fire Truck”. Sealed bids must be

received, no later than March 16, 2022, at 3

p.m., at the FPST Environmental Protection

Department. Bids received after this date and

time will not be accepted and will be returned

unopened to the sender.

The Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Tribe seeks to

purchase one (1) new diesel 4x4 wildland fire

truck to replace one 1994 International 4800

wildland fire truck. Key specifications for the

new diesel 4x4 wildland fire truck include:

crew cab, 4x4, automatic transmission, A/C,

equipment and tool storage compartments

with shelves, electronic siren & speakers

and exterior emergency warning lights, fully

equipped 400 gallon firefighting skid unit w/

hoses and foam system, and FPST Volunteer

Fire Dept. logo shall be provided on the both

cab doors. The new diesel 4x4 wildland fire

truck bid must include the delivery cost.

should be delivered to the name and address

listed below in a sealed envelope labeled as

follows:

All bids received by the deadline date and

time shall be opened publicly at the FPST

Environmental Protection Department, located

at 1011 Rio Vista Drive Fallon, Nevada 89406.

All bids must be accurate and cost reasonable.

The FPST will review all bids and select the

lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

Any and all bids may be rejected, if there is a

sound documented reason. The Fallon Paiute-

Shoshone Tribe is tax exempt tribal nation.

Upon selection of the winning bidder, the FBC

will send a Bid Award Notice to the selected
