The Nevada Department of Agriculture and Made In Nevada are rolling out their first Nevada Craft Beverage Passport at IMBIB Custom Brews in Reno on Friday afternoon.
The passport features more than 30 Nevada craft beverage makers across the state. Individuals are invited to visit each of those brewers over the course of this year, have a beverage and get their passport stamped.
Ciara Ressel of the Agriculture Department said there will also be a remote celebration at CraftHaus Brewery in the Las Vegas Arts District.
The event will wrap up Dec. 31. The more locations stamped on a passport, the bigger the prize passport holders get at year’s end, she said. Some locations are offering drink and product specials for passport holders.
Ressel said Friday’s event, which starts at 3 p.m., will feature a specially crafted beer from IMBIB made from Nevada-grown ingredients.
IMBIB is located at 785 E. Second St., in Reno.
