Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak has ordered the American and Nevada state flags lowered to half-staff to honor those killed and injured by the gunman at Highland Park, Illinois.
Six people were killed and more than two-dozen wounded when the gunman opened fire from a rooftop overlooking the city’s Independence Day parade.
Sisolak said the flags are to be lowered immediately and kept at half-staff until sunset July 9.
Authorities have a person of interest in custody but had not formally charged the 21-year-old as of midday Tuesday.
