The eighth annual de Golyer Bucking Horse and Bull Bash rodeo event is accepting entries until June 20. The event is June 25 at the county fairgrounds with gates opening at 5 p.m. followed by the rodeo at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 and are being sold at the Big R stores in Fallon, Fernley, Sparks and Winnemucca.
Events for the rodeo include mutton bustin, calf riding, junior steer riding, team roping, wild cow, milking, barrel racing, breakaway, bronc riding and bull riding. Also available at the event are free kids zone, raffle, craft vendors, food trucks, Troy's Double Shot Bar and a live band after the rodeo.
