NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held in the Churchill County Administration Complex, 155 North Taylor Street, County Commission Chambers, Fallon, Nevada. The Churchill County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing starting at approximately 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 on the request below.
Old Stone Ranch Planned Unit Development – A conceptual planned unit development application filed by NevDev, LLC for property located between Casey Road and Birch Lane, and property south of Birch Lane. The project will encompass Assessor Parcel Numbers 008-792-11, 008-792-95, 008-831- 77, 008-831-85, 008-831-86 for a total area of 107.239+/- acres. The properties were previously approved for urban development, but those approvals have expired. The current concept proposes 619 single-family and multi-family residences. This number includes a request for bonus density in exchange for providing community benefit by constructing a County park. A copy of the concept plan is available for viewing in the Public Works, Planning and Zoning Department office.
If you cannot attend the Planning Commission meeting, written comments may be submitted to the Public Works, Planning & Zoning Department, 155 N Taylor St, Suite 194, Fallon, NV 89406, before 4:00 p.m. on July 12, 2022. We will also post a scanned copy of the application with the Planning Commission Agenda on June 29, 2022 on our web page at www.churchillcountynv.gov under Agendas & Minutes. The Planning Commission will make a final decision on the Conceptual Planned Unit Development application. There will be other hearings for the Planned Unit Development application, Tentative Maps and Final Maps.
