Gov. Steve Sisolak on Monday named Kristen Stout to head the new Office of Federal Assistance. She will report for work April 11.
The office will still be called the Office of Grant Procurement, Coordination and Management until July 1 when it will become the Office of Federal Assistance.
Sisolak said her task is to ensure Nevada receives its fair share of federal dollars.
“I have made increasing federal funding into Nevada one of my key priorities,” he said, adding Stout brings two decades of experience to the job and will deliver for the state and local government agencies as well as tribal governments and non-profits.
