Carson City’s Brewery Arts Center will host Gia Torcaso and Joel Ackerson as part of the Musicale@TheMaizie series.
Torcaso and Ackerson will perform Saturday, March 26 at 7 p.m.
Musicale @TheMaizie is a singer/songwriter series in what was formerly the Maizie Harris Jesse Black Box Theater, now The Maizie.
Torcaso’s music finds roots in American storytelling, freestyle poetry, and sometimes modern folklore, dreaming up imaginary characters going through tragic events, according to a news release from the BAC. The human experience through music is an inspiring thing, which is explored in depth on Torcaso’s latest album, "Beautiful War.”
