Fallon man arrested in missing Fernley woman’s case

On March 25, 2022 the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office arrested Troy Driver, 41 years old, from Fallon. Driver is being held on charges of kidnapping. 
"We have located the truck in question and it has been impounded and taken into evidence," a press release said. "This is still a very active investigation and more information will be released as it becomes available. Naomi has still not been located and we are continuing to search for her and information."

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Friday afternoon it has taken into custody a suspect in the March 12 disappearance of Naomi Irion of Fernley,
The release said law enforcement is “still actively searching for Naomi Irion,” adding a pickup possibly involved with the case has been impounded.
The release said additional information would be available as soon as possible.

Irion, 18, went missing from the Walmart in Fernley on March 12.
Her vehicle was found March 15 at the industrial park in Fernley. Deputies say evidence found inside the car suggests Irion’s disappearance was the result of a crime.
Irion is described as 5′11″ with dyed black hair. Her family said her eyes are green, but one also has brown in it.
She was last need about 5 a.m. on March 12.
