Nineteen Carson High School Fine Arts students were awarded Fine Arts diploma endorsements at the Senior Showcase event in Senator Square at Carson High on Tuesday. The students honored will celebrate the achievement by wearing brown Fine Arts cords at graduation.
This endorsement recognizes outstanding dedication and achievement in the Fine Arts throughout each student’s four years of study at Carson High School, which includes efforts and skill in choir, band, orchestra, theater, ceramics, visual arts and digital arts. Additionally, many of the students recognized have excelled in multiple disciplines.
To receive this honor, students must have earned at least five fine arts credits with a 3.0 or better, participated in at least four Carson High School-sanctioned extracurricular activities related to the fine arts (All-State Ensemble, International Thespian Society, Scholastic Art Competition, etc.), completed a senior portfolio and participated in Senior Showcases.
