‘Oliver, Jr!’ performances set for Carson City

Wild Horse Children’s Theater presents the Northern Nevada premiere of the Tony and Academy Award winning musical, “Oliver, Jr!”

Performances at the Brewery Arts Center are weekends Dec. 2, 9 with Friday and Saturday evening shows at 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.

Based on the Charles Dickens’ novel, “Oliver Twist,” the Broadway junior version of the show is family-friendly and shortened to 70 minutes. The production features a cast of 55 young actors who sing and dance the well-known score in musical numbers such as “Consider Yourself,” “Where Is Love?” “As Long As He Needs Me” and “Food, Glorious Food.”

VIP tickets can be purchased for $20; lower section tickets $18 for adults, $15 for students and seniors, $11 for children ages 4-12, and upper section tickets $15 for adults, $12 for students and seniors, $8 for children ages 4-12 with children under 4 free.
