Nevada casinos recorded their 19th consecutive month with winnings over $1 billion in October.
Total win was $1.22 billion. That is an increase of 4.8 percent compared to October 2021.
In northern and western Nevada, the only reporting area that saw a decrease in win was North Lake Tahoe where casinos collected $1.99 million, 9.26 percent less than a year ago.
The bright spots in western Nevada were Sparks, which reported a 14 percent increase in win to $16.5 million, and South Lake Tahoe, where win increased 13.2 percent to $18.16 million.
The Carson Valley Area, which includes valley portions of Douglas County as well as the capital, reported a 4.13 percent increase to $11.98 million.
Washoe County as a whole reported $91.46 million in win, a 5.24 percent increase from last October.
In Churchill County, total win was $2.24 million. That is an increase of 4.2 percent.
In the south, the Las Vegas Strip raked in $705.8 million, up a half percent from a year ago. The county as a whole reported $1.1 billion in win, up 4.5 percent.
