After a 56-10 loss to Damonte Ranch on Friday, Douglas High football bumps into its bye week.
The Tigers sit at 1-6 overall and have an 0-4 record in the Class 5A North.
Coming out of the open week, the Tigers will travel to Carson (1-6, 0-4) to take on the Senators’ in another installment of The Rivalry Game.
Douglas High girls tennis into postseason
The Douglas High girls tennis team is into the postseason as the No. 5 seed after going 4-4 over the team slate.
The Tigers will jump into the postseason Monday, Oct. 10 at No. 4 McQueen (5-3).
Douglas and McQueen have not met this year.
Tiger boys soccer bests Fallon
Douglas High boys soccer took down Churchill County on Monday by a final of 2-1.
The contest was a makeup game from earlier this season.

Douglas girls golf wraps up Fallon meet
With a team score of 335, Douglas High girls golf cruised to another team win last week at Fallon.
Every single Tiger golfer shot under 100, lead by Giana Zinke’s 82.
Abby Miller and Madison Frisby posted matching 83’s for Douglas while Logan Karwoski put together an 87.
Mackenzie Willis and Abbigail Detsch rounded out the scoring with a 95 and a 96, respectively.
