The Carson High boys soccer team played a 0-0 draw with Wooster on Wednesday, the second time this season the Senators have drawn with the Colts.

A big reason why Carson was able to keep Wooster off the board was goalkeeper Joshua Lopez, who had several crucial stops.

“He’s been having some pretty amazing games,” said Carson High head coach Pedro Chavez. “He’s been performing very well and has been giving us some confidence back there.”

The Senators put together more scoring chances in the first half than the second half and Chavez said some of that was struggling to string passes together in the final 40 minutes.

UP NEXT: Carson (3-7-5, 2-7-5 in league) will take on Sparks (16-3-1, 11-1-1) on the road Saturday with a 1:30 p.m. start.
