This week Carson High School is pleased to present Ash Fajayan as its Senior in the Spotlight! Ash Fajayan has excelled throughout all 4 years at Carson High School and is an amazing representation of what it means to be a Senator.
This talented musician has shown full dedication to the band programs at Carson High, playing 4 years in the marching band as well as playing percussion in the Wind Ensemble. Some of Ash’s musical accomplishments include being named the Pit Section Leader for the marching band as well as being selected as a percussionist for the Honor Band.
Besides playing percussion in the band, Ash has done some great work in the classroom. Currently, Ash carries a weighted GPA of 3.22 and has completed 5 honors level classes. After graduating from Carson High, Ash will decide to attend either UNR or WNC. This talented student plans on majoring in Music Education or Music Theory. Ash has also participated in Culinary and is on track to graduate as a CTE Pathway Completer along with competing in Skills USA with the culinary program.
Other things that Ash likes to do are crotchet, hangout with friends and spoil the 3 family cats. We are lucky to have such a great kid be a part of our CHS community, and we are excited to see where Ash will go!
