ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Separate sealed Bids for the construction of the 2022/2023 Consolidated Roadway Rehabilitation Project will be received by the City of Fallon, the Owner, at their administrative office located at 55 W. Williams Ave., Fallon, Nevada 89406 until 2:00 p.m., local time, on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Work consists of performing or providing all labor, services, and documentation necessary to produce such construction and furnishing, installing, and incorporating all materials and equipment into such construction, all as required by the Contract Documents.
The Work generally includes but is not limited to: Roadway reconstruction of approximately 6,100 linear feet of West A Street, Taylor Street, Whitaker Lane, and Rancho Drive, various concrete improvements, such as, replacement of sidewalk, curb and gutter, residential and commercial driveway or approach improvements, and ADA compliant pedestrian ramps at the affected intersections, storm drain improvements include new catch basins and lateral tie-ins, minor striping, and traffic control.

The Contract Documents may be examined and obtained on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the following location:

A non-refundable deposit of $25.00 will be charged to log into the plan room to obtain each set of Plans and Contract Documents.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 p.m. local time on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Fallon City Hall, 55 West Williams Avenue, Fallon, Nevada 89406. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with Section 00200, Instructions to Bidders. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form (separate Bid package) and accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in accordance with Section 00200. Successful Bidders will be required to furnish both a Payment Bond and Performance Bond in the full amount of the contact price.
The Owner will not award the Contract to a Bidder who, at the time of submitting a Bid, was not properly licensed under the provisions of Chapter 624 of NRS or if the Contract would exceed the limit of the Bidder’s license. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders.
