On Wednesday, Dayton High volleyball traveled to Truckee High to take on the Wolverines. All three teams came home with a win. The freshmen won in two sets (25-21, 25-12), junior varsity was victorious in three seats (25-21, 13-25, 15-7), while the varsity won in three (25-16, 25-22, 25-19).
Hallie Peterson led the Dust Devils in kills with eight, followed by Kassandra Miller and Ayisha Agee with five kills each.
Penny-Laine Vaelua put together 13 assists and Miller added six of her own. Vaelua posted four aces to lead the Dust Devils while Riley Glynn had a team-high 10 digs.
Per MaxPreps, Glynn is eighth in Nevada in total aces so far this season.
“We are off to a great start this season and I look forward to the rest of the season,” said head coach Alyse Fletcher.
UP NEXT: Dayton (13-3) took on North Valleys (3-3) Friday before hosting Wooster (0-2) at home Wednesday.
