This weekend we have four great movies for you to enjoy! Starting Friday at 6 p.m. our first feature will be the 2002 adventure Scooby-Doo. This story revolves around Mystery Incorporated, a group of four young adults and a talking dog (Scooby-Doo) who solve mysteries, who reunite after a two-year disbandment to investigate a mystery at a popular horror-themed tropical island resort! Starring Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar, Matthew Lillard and Rowan Atkinson.
Our second feature Friday night, starting at 6:30 p.m. is the 1994 comedy “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective” starring Jim Carrey, Sean Young, Courteney Cox and Troy Evans. A goofy detective (Jim Carrey) specializing in animals goes in search of the missing mascot of the Miami Dolphins.
Our first movie on Saturday starting at 6 p.m., is the 1986 fantasy film “Labyrinth” directed by Jim Henson and produced by George Lucas. Sixteen-year-old Sarah is given 13 hours to solve a labyrinth and rescue her baby brother Toby when her wish for him to be taken away is granted by the Goblin King Jareth. Starring David Bowie, Jennifer Connelly and Toby Froud.
Our second showing Saturday evening at 6:30 is the 1977 science fiction film “Close Encounters of the Third Kind,” written and directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Richard Dreyfuss, Melinda Killon, Teri Garr and Bob Blaban.
Roy Neary, an Indiana electric lineman, finds his quiet and ordinary daily life turned upside down after a close encounter with a UFO, spurring him to an obsessed cross-country quest for answers as a momentous event approaches.
Also mark your calendars for Oct. 8 as we present our annual Fallon Theatre Show n' Shine from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. on Maine Street. Many great classic cars along with swap meet featuring car related products! Music will be furnished by our good friend DJ Davey Munoz.
