A male motorcycle rider was killed just before 7 p.m. Wednesday in a collision with a commercial truck.
The wreck happened at Carson Street and Nye Lane at 6:53 p.m. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Carson City Sheriff’s Office requested that the Nevada Highway Patrol’s major incident review team take over the investigation.
The deceased was not identified.
No further details were released.
