Thanks everybody for joining us at the free Leetville Junction Band concert last Saturday night!

We have another great lineup this weekend for you — not only a couple of great movies but a very special live concert on our stage by George Morrow's Band, Electric Kazoo Orchestra. Here is what we have for you.

Starting this Friday evening, April 14 at 6 p.m., we will be showing the 2012 family adventure film, The Lorax. A 12-year-old boy searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world. Voices provided by Zac Efron, Taylor Swift, Danny DeVito and Betty White.

Our second movie Friday evening at 7 p.m. features John Wayne starring in the 1963 classic western, Mclintock. Wealthy rancher G.W. McLintock uses his power and influence in the territory to keep the peace between farmers, ranchers, land-grabbers, Indians and corrupt government officials. Stars John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara and Patrick Wayne. Both movies are free.

Saturday, April 15 at 6 p.m., we again will be showing The Lorax. At 7 p.m. Saturday we will be featuring great live music with Fallon's own Electric Kazoo Orchestra. Please join us for this local band's first appearance on our historic stage – tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance or at the door. All proceeds are being donated by the Electric Kazoo Orchestra to the Fallon Theatre.

On Sunday, April 16 at 1 p.m. we will be showing a film by an award-winning filmmaker, Robin Hayes from Silver Springs – Crazy Woman Creek, a new, feature-length western film set in the late 1800s in fictional western Nevada towns. The story is about a woman who is abandoned in the desert, is lost and lies down to die but is inadvertently discovered by a crazy woman and her goat. Much of the movie was filmed in Virginia City. This movie is also free.

Don't forget the music keeps coming as Split Persona along with The Will Shamberger Band take our stage next Saturday, April 22 — concert starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are $12.

Hope to see you at all our movies and special events.
