Jodi Miller has been named center manager for Night Off the Streets.
She will oversee the warming center operations and serve as a referral advocate to connect clients to services that help them find housing.
Miller has professional experience working for Carson City’s Community Counseling Center, Vitality Unlimited, and Friends in Service Helping.
She earned a certification as a peer recovery support specialist and has volunteered with Carson City Alano Club and Wylie House. She is working toward a bachelor’s degree in social work.
NOTS works to connect clients with city agencies and other non-profit organizations to address the issues that contribute to being unhoused, including medical problems, difficulty finding affordable housing, and lost documents required for job interviews.
