Sheriff seeks identification of hit and run suspect

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit and run involving a pedestrian that occurred in the area of Carson and Robinson streets Friday night.

According to a press release, at about 8:08 p.m., a dark colored sedan was driving westbound on Robinson from Plaza Street.

The vehicle struck a pedestrian in the roadway and left the area, continuing westbound past Carson Street. The vehicle was unable to be located. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

There is damage to the right front of the suspect vehicle.

Secret Witness is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect.
